Why is everyone so LOUD today?

Why is everyone is yelling conversations to one another?
Why are they all typing louder?
Dialing phone numbers louder?
Stomping around instead of walking?

And is it just me, or have all of the phones increased in volume since yesterday?
Who turned up my computer speakers when I wasn't looking?
And why does the copy machine sound like it's next to my ear?
